Touring the Under Construction Condo Conversion at 212 Fifth Avenue, Flatiron District

The 24-story, neo-Gothic structure at 212 Fifth Avenue has been a New York icon since it was built more than 100 years ago in 1912. Once occupied by garment and furniture manufacturers, the building is being converted into luxury condominiums by Madison and Thor Equities. Inside, 48 Pembrooke & Ives-designed residences will range in size from two- and three-bedroom homes to a four-bedroom triplex penthouse with floor-to-ceiling windows.
