Westwood Gallery has teamed up with Madison Equities to put on a unique show of contemporary art in the triplex penthouse atop the newly restored condo building, 212 Fifth Avenue. “The Crown,” as the 10,000-plus-square-foot Madison Square Park condo has been dubbed, is currently home to work by legendary artists. including Andy Warhol screen prints, Cy Twombly paintings, and sculptural paintings by Charles Hinman. The penthouse, which features terraces on two levels and floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of many Manhattan landmarks, is the perfect setting for these pieces: not only does this luxurious home practically invite fine art, but it contains spaces, like a wide expanse of terrace, that have been set aside for significant works of art.
